We are Ine Knops-Tillie ( born in 1956 ) and Ed Knops ( born in 1953 ). We live in Sevenum a village which is situated in the south of the Netherlands. We have both worked in education, but have been working with clay on a full-time basis since 1993.
Nowadays our work mainly consists of:
- experimenting with raku and variations on this method to invent new techniques
- doing workshops, teaching raku ( variations )
- writing books, shooting films about raku ( variations )
- selling raku related material.
